Crosstown launch collection of chocolate
The secret is finally out! We’ve launched our very first range of Crosstown chocolate, inspired by our award-winning doughnuts.
In 2020, we launched two new product lines, small-batch ice cream, and handcrafted cookies, to sit alongside our award-winning sourdough doughnuts, making Crosstown the go-to destination for any premium sweet treat. A year later, we’ve introduced Crosstown chocolate to the line-up, full of nostalgic and iconic Crosstown flavours customers know and love.
Like everything that comes out of the Crosstown bakery, the same level of quality, care, and attention to detail has gone into creating our extraordinary chocolate. The flavour combinations for each bar have been inspired by our range of award-winning doughnuts, such as the iconic Matcha Cake doughnut, and the seasonal favourite featuring a Yuzu and Passion Fruit custard. Alongside these flavour inspirations, we’ve taken our partnership with Caravan Coffee Roasters to the next level, with a bar made from our collaborative blend, the Crosstown Espresso.
So, without further ado the Crosstown chocolate flavours include:
Matcha – Smooth and herbaceous matcha provides an earthy balance to sweet, indulgent white chocolate. Filled with a creamy matcha ganache as an ode to Crosstown’s matcha doughnut fans.
Coffee (ve) – Rich, nostalgic notes of Crosstown’s espresso blend melts into our creamy 50% dark chocolate. In partnership with Caravan Coffee Roasters.
Yuzu & Passion Fruit (ve) – A favourite ingredient in the Crosstown bakery, yuzu is complimented by bright passion fruit in a zesty ganache, encased in our signature 72% dark chocolate.
Almond Brittle – Almond brittle speckles our luscious milk chocolate, for a treat bursting with nutty, caramel flavours.
Milk Chocolate (COMING SOON) – Smooth and creamy, our signature 35% milk chocolate is light-hearted, delicious, and nostalgic with subtle hints of caramel.
Dark Chocolate (ve) (COMING SOON) – Rich and indulgent, our signature 72% dark chocolate is accessible and fruity with a luscious nutty finish.
What a line-up right? Each bar is available to purchase individually, in packs of three and six, exclusively from the Crosstown website for on-demand and next-day delivery.
Launching just in time for Christmas, Crosstown chocolate makes for the perfect gift ready to pop straight under the tree.
When purchasing a pack of three or six chocolate bars, they’ll come sealed with a snug belly band featuring copper Crosstown branding, or add the Chocolate gifting box (for an additional £4.50), which neatly presents the chocolate in a matte black drawer box.
