We started life as a market stall on Leather Lane back in 2014 – so much of Crosstown’s DNA is in the London street food scene. As any market trader will know, this arena will put you to the test operationally, as well as up close and personal with our first customers who would only accept the best. It was here that we began the journey and started to carve out the Crosstown brand.

From day one it was important that our ethos for honest, hand crafted doughnuts was met with integrity to our customers and fellow market traders. Our mission was to create a moment away from the day-to-day, challenging nostalgic memories of chocolate rings and jam balls with select flavour combinations, fresh, real ingredients and an experience beyond expectations.

Shortly after opening our South London bakery, we launched the Crosstown website. We were taking online orders for the first time! Since then we’ve joined Deliveroo and Uber Eats (as a launch partner!), delivering on-demand, across the capital, at an ever-increasing rate – we’ve cemented that ‘doughnuts on desks’ is a thing!

Now, more than ever, it is important that our brand and product are aligned. We want to deliver the same Crosstown experience that we’ve established in markets & stores to new customers online and do it direct.

The launch of the new Crosstown website is more than just an update – it is a milestone. Now taking orders directly for on-demand and in the future, we’re delivering that ‘special moment away’ faster, fresher and with more flexibility than ever before. Combined with our growing network of doughnut & coffee stores, and an increased delivery radius across London, we’re excited to write the next chapter in Crosstown’s history.
