THE SPICED PUMPKIN DOUGHNUT (VE) RETURNS FOR THANKSGIVING 2019
Fall is in full swing, and to keep your spirits up on these frosty London days, we’re relaunching London’s favourite Vegan Spiced Pumpkin doughnut! It was such a hit last year that we decided to bring this special vegan flavour back to all Crosstown locations from 31 October 2019.
This handcrafted doughnut is made with our award-winning vegan sourdough, filled with a homemade spiced pumpkin custard, topped with pumpkin glaze and finished with a warming cinnamon and pumpkin seed crumble.
The Spiced Pumpkin doughnut is inspired by our friends across the pond who created the traditional pumpkin pie dessert, which is eaten during Thanksgiving. As always, we’ve used the finest, freshest ingredients to craft this seasonal flavour from scratch. Our bakers have replaced eggs and dairy with alternatives like chia seeds and coconut butter to create this fully plant-based doughnut, which is just as delicious as our original flavours.
If you’re after a warm drink to accompany your Spiced Pumpkin doughnut, we recommend ordering one of our specialty chai lattes. Our trained baristas make this comforting chai with Prana Chai’s masala blend, whole spices, agave and our favourite soya milk from Happy Happy Soy Boy. The spicy, earthy notes of the chai pair perfectly with the flavours in the Spiced Pumpkin doughnut, and will warm you up on your way to the office or as an after-dinner treat on these chilly London evenings.
