PRODUCTION STORAGE & HANDLING
We produce all of our doughnuts in a bakery which we own and operate. This bakery uses peanuts and other nuts in some of our products. We have controls within our bakery that separate nuts and peanuts from other ingredients, and limit the ability for contamination. However, given we hand make an unsealed product, we cannot guarantee that our doughnuts have zero contact with peanuts, nuts or other allergens.
How to store and prepare your hot dog:
1. Your sausages should arrive frozen or still very cold. Put them back in the freezer, or keep them in the fridge unopened for up to 2 weeks. Always use within the expiry date shown.
2. Your sausages are pre-cooked and frozen. They’re safe to eat cold, so the way you heat them depends on desired flavour and personal preference!
3. We recommend steaming them for an authentic hot dog experience. About 15-20 minutes is perfect. If you have a BBQ, feel free to grill instead and get some lovely colour on them! This is especially nice for the vegan hot dogs.
