CENTREPOINT CHARITY PARTNERSHIP

We’re proud to announce the start of an exciting new partnership with London based youth homelessness charity, Centrepoint.

Founded in 1969 at St. Anne’s Church in Soho, less than 5 minutes’ walk from our first store on Broadwick Street, Centrepoint provide support for vulnerable young people who often have nowhere to live. Through their hard work and partnerships with businesses like Crosstown, they are able to help over 10,000 young people every year get off the street or out of harm’s way. Centrepoint’s vital care reaches people all over the nation, yet their headquarters remain in Central London just down the road from where their mission started 50 years ago.

Youth homelessness in the capital is an issue we’re ready to tackle head on. We’re a business that operates in the heart of London at several locations – it is our home, it’s in our DNA and we believe it’s our responsibility to try to give back to the city where we see an obvious growing pressure point of youth hardship. Whilst financial support is important, we’re also raising awareness of the issues thousands of young people face every day. We’ve got a a number of initiatives planned for Centrepoint, and in true Crosstown style, we’re getting creative! Our teams have set themselves challenges, our bakers have exciting product ideas, and our stores will be the driving force behind the action to raise funds and awareness.
